Local Companies We Support

Community is everything at ArcMate. These are just a few of the local, San Diego, CA based companies we are proud to support.

I Love A Clean San Diego

Founded as the San Diego War Against Litter Committee (WALC) in 1954, I Love A Clean San Diego (ILACSD) has worked to improve the health and beauty of San Diego for over 70 years. In the 1970s, “I Love A Clean San Diego” was the slogan for the organization’s anti-litter campaign. In 1980 it became the organization’s name. In 1989, ILACSD merged with the San Diego Ecology Center, joining two leading environmental organizations together to better serve the community, under one name.

Today, their nonprofit is on a mission to create zero waste lifestyles and zero litter throughout San Diego County. ILACSD serves about 100,000 students, adults and businesses every year by providing environmental education, volunteer cleanup and beautification programs, and recycling and zero waste solutions. On average, the organization hosts over 900 workshops and produces 600 community cleanups each year. Community cleanups are responsible for clearing nearly half a million pounds of pollution from the region annually. ILACSD is dedicated to empowering every person to be leaders in conservation and waste-free living in order to protect and improve the health of the home we love.

Love Esco

In the Spring of 2021, members of Escondido, CA based Emmanuel Faith Community Church were eager to reengage with their community after the turmoil of the Covid-19 pandemic. Groups organized around local partners such as Interfaith, the City of Escondido, and the Escondido Union School District, to serve the community through projects such as cleaning local parks, caring for local teachers, and collecting laundry supplies, hygiene kits, and food for families in need. These acts of neighborly love, contagious generosity, and care for the place we call home, became the foundation for Love Esco.

After four years of projects, Love Esco has mobilized 3,000+ volunteers, accumulated 10,000 hours of service, and completed 100+ projects.

Street Stewards

The Street Stewards strive to keep their neighborhoods and communities clean by adopting a block or joining in on group cleanups. They hope by connecting a patchwork of environmentally concerned volunteers, all communities will be enriched with a sense of pride and respect.

T.A.P. Foundation (Litter Did We Know)

The Total Altruistic Project® Foundation is a nonprofit organization that identifies projects that heightens altruistic behavior in people which helps our environment, both ecologically and socially.

T.A.P. teamed up with San Diego Parks and Recreation, which allowed them to launch their first feasibility study at the Allied Gardens Community Park on November 1st, 2022. Immediately, park staff noticed a marked reduction in their litter workload, as it allowed park users an easy and convenient way to tap into their altruistic desire to pitch in and remove litter.  Surveys of the grounds maintenance workers share that their litter pickup tasks have been reduced by as much as 50%!
